No weather impacts expected in the short term period with dry
weather and only a few high clouds. Temps will continue well below
normal.

Model guidance continues to be highly clustered so high confidence
in temps. Lowered dewpoints based on continued poor performance of
NBM and its bias correction to overly moist URMA which has a high
proportion of moisture readings from backyard weather stations and
other hygristor-based humidity sensors which have a huge moist bias.

Fortunately, no impacts to fire weather as temps should remain too
cold for widespread controlled burning. Winds will also remain fairly
light.

No significant forecast concerns or weather impacts expected in the
long term period. Christmas should be a bit warmer with some clouds
and rain around, a bit more over NW GA.

Pattern expected to shift from NW flow to more active southern
stream flow with several shortwaves moving through the southern
states Tues through Fri. Surprisingly good agreement amongst the
ensemble guidance on the larger waves and their timing and strength.

Will definitely be too warm for any winter precip but not warm/moist
enough for any instability or convection. With strong wave exiting
the NE CONUS in northern branch, phasing between northern and
southern streams will be favorable for cold air damming on Wed/Thurs.
Wedge front shouldn`t push too hard into the state but likely
eroding way too quickly late Thurs and Fri. Too far out to try and
game the system with this so will pause on any big adjustments to
temps and dewpoints.
